Abacus Translation is committed to protecting the personal data of its clients and contracted translators and keeping it private. As a translation agency we only ever ask for the information we need in order to enter into and execute contracts relating to translation and/or revision services.

We do not sell, trade or share this information or any invoicing details provided to us.

 

What this means in practice

When you send us an email we will retain your personal information for as long as is necessary to deal with your request or for as long as required by law. We will only ever use your personal information for the purpose we collected it for.

You can request to have your details removed from our database at any time and we will honour this request immediately, subject to legal requirements.

We will not share your details with third parties except where necessary for the provision of contracted translation and/or revision services.

We will destroy any personal information for which the statutory retention period has expired or which is no longer needed to perform our services.
